You've never heard flow like this. This track is a year old...when Nagi was 3.
Nagi-chan (that's Nagi on the left, with Lil' Mizuki on the right, decoratin' gingerbread cookies yo) is a one of the many really special kids I'm fortunate to teach every week. She's a voracious reader, a big Clifford fan, and one of the deadliest MCs you'll ever come across. When she was 2, she brought in a freestyle rap she recorded with her father. She wasn't really speaking that much in Japanese or English at the time, so it was mostly made up words with English intonation, and "Elmo, Clifford, ABC" thrown in here and there.
This is her second single, At School. It's not freestyle this time (she's rapping from two of her favorite books..."At School" from the Potato Pals Series , and Me Myself, and with some assists from Mom and Dad), but the flow is stronger than ever, and you can see what an awesome reader she had become at age 3. Mad skills...
We're still waiting for her to drop her first single as a 4 year-old. Let me know if you want to hear more. To check the lyrics for this track, continue reading below.
