Clea over at (sm)all ages has had a couple of great posts recently (here and here) about muppet and sesame street character/celebrity collaborations.
Her posts, and a great new broadband connection at home, led me over to YouTube.com for a browse of the extensive collection of Sesame Street clips. More fun than I'd like to admit. In addition to seeing some old friends I haven't seen in a while (my favorites the Count and Guy Smiley, although I have the same reaction to Elmo that I had to Scrappy Doo..."WHY?"), I came across a few more celeb collaborations.
Natalie Portman
Dixie Chicks
Backstreet Boys
Goo Goo Dolls
Stevie Wonder (below, not to be missed)
And this one goes out to one my students who loves this Ernie classic:
Rubber Ducky
Enjoy.
We have a great Sesame Street video called 'Sing yourself Silly'...dunno if you've come across it yet. Enjoying the blog by the way. Hope you7re well, u there in the BIG smoke and that GW was fun. Pip Pip
